Thanks very much, Dark Sun will always have a place close to my heart, and the art will always inspire my work for the rest of my career. I loved getting to work on the 4th edition books, but I can't argue that they certainly strayed a little too far from what made the original setting so striking and memorable. I'm hopeful that I'll have a chance to work on the setting again someday.
Yes, with any luck they will eventually resurrect the world again, this time without trying to put their own modern Xtreme feel to it, ugh. I almost got the impression while reading it that the newer designers didn't think the world was cool enough so they had to make it better by tossing in all kinds of nonsense. Really, all I wanted was a rules update, without all the silly tweaking of the history and backstory to the world. I'm not sure how other gamers approach a rebooted product, but for me I want an update of Dark Sun, not these new guys' version of what they think Dark Sun should be. And if it gives me a chance to ogle more of your amazing art then I certainly hope you get a chance to work on it again too!
Flawless characterization and scenic beauty is there..What a beautiful work u have composed there..Am learning things from ur art..Really nice colors are there..Excellent work once again..All the best..
Yeah I definately think this one kicks ass. Pretty cool being in Dragon Mag too. I hope I can get some stuff in there when I get my color down. Guess it kinda sucks I got my tablet so late in my artistic growth. The sun is wicked and my personal favorite characteristic of this piece is the surrealistic quality of the sand dunes. Great job Jason. By the way, do you also know a buttload of artists whose names are Jason? I think it goes with the name, the talent that is.
