Wow, this is great work! I am a high fantasy author looking for a concept artist for a few of my characters. These concepts wont be for commercial use but be for my own person use to keep with all my other documents. If you are interested please email me at TheElderForest@gmail.com. Again, great work!

Love and light,
Holmar

Great job on these character designs. Personally I would add a drop shadow on the character to ground him in the image. This is great for composition.

I love how practical the outfits in Pathfinder look. Everyone carries all these bags and backpacks and such - it's stuff one should take for granted for a bunch of wandering adventurers, yet you don't see all so often in fantasy contexts. People often completely omit the travel gear.

This guy kind of looks like a older version of me if I were a charter from a fantasy story! even his gear fits in.

I like it.... but the first time i looked at it i was like "What's the deal with the book strapped to his belt? That's an odd way to carry a book!" Then I realized that it's a pouch with a flap... right?

Nope, you were right the first time. It's a book. A journal, actually. He's an adventurer who does a lot of travel, and takes a lot of notes. It's strapped on the front of his belt so it stays in place, but is accessible for easy reference.
